There are strong suggestions that pootin killed his own ppl in a false flag operation so he could invade Chechnia.

Yeah, Russians discovered scattered mines... under their tanks. Contrary to some voices in American media, it wasn't a tank battle, even less it was any kind of a great tank battle. It was a successful trap.

But the funniest thing is that the Russian officer responsible for this disaster got... promotion. For obeying orders.
That might give us some insight into the greatest weakness of Russian army: ineffective, illogical commanding. It's systemic.

The first illogical statement was that the Ukraine was gearing itself to conquer Russia.
Don't forget, it was thought that Russia had the second most powerful military in the world.
Also, As part of the deal with Ukrain remaining an independent, sovereign nation, it gave away it nuklear weapons.
What tutle-brain would think that Ukraine would attack a nation/federation like that with the additional benefit of having a much. much greater number of potential conscripts?

Seriously, I was tempted to stop watching the video right there.

Well, recently, I came across a video explaining how pootin was fiddling the books in regard to the Russian economy. It was suggested pootin lied to the IMF.
Since we know that pootin is above reproach, we have no option other than to take his word as gospel. <sarcasm>

The other thing that was pointed ou in that video is that Russia has no effective means of transporting liquified gas.
Bye, bye, any meaningful revenue from that.

Another point that was mentioned is that due to the restriction of the oil price, the amount of revenue pootin would gain would be minimal since Russian oil "production" is extremely ineffective/expensive compared to other oil-producing countries.

It was stated that now the Russian "bear" has been poked, and it was now raising an irresistible military force.
This statement flies in the face of reason when you consider the following:
1. pootin is now using 60 year old military ordinance because much of their more modern weaponry has been destroyed.
Half of their tanks have been destroyed or captured, as an example.
2. While pootin has enormous reserves of cannon fodder that can be mobilised, they would be poorly trained and equipped.

No offence intended, but I have heard enough and won't be listening to the rest.
I will also not be viewing his other video.
My time is much too valuable to watch this garbage.

I suspect "destroy Russia" was meant more in the sense and context of the American foreign policy objective, rather than something more direct on the part of the Ukrainians.



This is psychological coping or propaganda from people who want Russia to be on its knees, when it simply isn't. You cannot hide economic devastation just by lying to the IMF - the Rouble really is still worth something on the international markets, Russia really has weathered the sanctions and overcome America's attempt to isolate it economically. The global South really are sympathetic to Russia over NATO and that doesn't look likely to change anytime soon.



These are sketchy premises. The last article I posted already touched on how ridiculous that figure of tank losses is on the face of it and dismissed as worthless the method used to calculate it (counting easily faked pictures of destroyed vehicles posted on the Ukrainian twitter propaganda mills).
MacGregor thinks differently and has very different sources. He thinks Ukrainian casualties are much higher than stated and Russia's much lower because Russia has a serious technological advantage (in the sense I was using it originally) when it comes to artillery - he doesn't believe the Russians are using 60 year old peashooters. He believes they have an accuracy advantage and many more shells to fire - enough of one to negate the defender's advantage.

Why do I trust someone like MacGregor more than the other side? It all starts with his ability to understand and state that the war was not unprovoked. This is not just a matter of brainpower and the ability to empathise with the Russian position (which helps him better understand their objectives and strategy) - it takes quite some courage to put your name to unfashionable opinions in our degraded, supposedly free cultures. Opinions that require courage to state are often better informed than the fashionable ones.



As stated, it is your loss. If the tide starts to turn obviously in Russia's favour, contrary to what Western propaganda would have you believe, will you return to these videos and wonder why you didn't listen back then?

There is a lot of propaganda and lies about this war said by both sides, that I even as a genetic and national outsider can notice.

For example this was on the bbc website this morning. Read this paragraph and tell me what’s wrong with it if it doesn’t make sense:-

Propaganda and information war - it's worth pointing out it does not necessarily mean lies, it's often about selecting information that gets or doesn't get released - are obviously taking place on both sides but when it comes to this particular sentence:

“ The Russian-held Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant earlier lost its last external power line after the latest Russian missile strikes.”

What exactly about it makes no sense to you?
This plant is operating only on the level of safe maintainence (not producing energy, only maintaining dangerous materials and processes in safe conditions - mainly cooling reactors) to minimize the size of catastrophe in case it gets directly hit. For this, it uses electricity from Ukrainian grid - which got shelled again last night.

By the way, Ukrenerho claims it has already restored this connection.

Can you not notice the Soviet or North Korea like flaw in the news article paragraph intended to deceive?

The nuclear power plant is under Russian control as the sentence states ( this is clearly seen on a map too look up Ukraine live map for example ).

There are no Ukrainian positions for miles around.

So who is firing on the nuclear power station and putting Europe and another Chernobyl at risk?

No one is firing at the plant.
Russians are firing at the power grid. Which they don't even attempt to hide.
The power grid fails, the plant gets cut off.
No one anywhere claims the plant itself was damaged. Believe me, everyone would yell if it was. Polish radiation monitors among them.
