New Age spirituality has become a cesspool of garbage
New age stuff has been curiously of interest to the government

From what I understand there have been a number of famous world leaders who's wives befriended famous psychics who predicted strange things about their husbands and families (if you believe the rumors)
Napoleon Bonaparte's wife Empress Josephine befriended a famed psychic from Paris, France named Maria Anne Lenormand during the French Revolution as they were both sentenced to death together and later pardoned. This woman was said to have predicted that Napoleon would one day divorce his wife Josephine, which he did.

The last Czar of Russia Nicholas II, his wife befriended the self-proclaimed prophet Grigori Rasputin after he supposedly cured their son of a mysterious illness but he was accused of abusing the privileges that the royal family bestowed on him. His last prediction was that should he be found murdered (by members of the court) that the entire royal family itself would become massacred, which is exactly what happened during the Russian Revolution.

And even the American president Ronald Reagan, his wife Nancy befriended a psychic by the name of Joan Quiggley who supposedly predicted the assassination attempt on the president's life.

None of this stuff is "new age". It maybe unconventional. But not 'new age'. New Age is a music genre popular in the 1990s, and an amorphous type of religion/spirtuality. Stop abusing the English language please.
But yes...some seemingly flaky stuff does get the attention of the powers at be. Both the Soviets and our side researched ESP during the cold war for example.

You are demarcating lines/boundaries on what arbitrarily fits into labels in a literal self-projected manner.
It doesn't matter what the dictionary says, science lumps all of it into the same bucket whether you like it or not.
It's called pseudoscientific belief
And in any case astral travel, telepathy, talking with spirits is all conflated with the stuff being researched in the links I provided.
Crystal energy is ironically what Mazda are investing part of their 11 billion dollars into EV research

BINGO!
"psuedo science" is the RIGHT TERM for what you mean. Not "new age". Thanks for correcting yourself.

My point was that it's all the same to a scientist.

Most INfamous. Yes.
I believe it was Goebles wife who introduced the Nazi inner circle to Nostradamus. Noticing how N seemed to be predicting the victories of the Third Reich, and ignoring how he also seemed to be predicting its later downfall too.
Churchil employed a astrologer not because he believed in astrology but because he knew that Hitler employed an astrologer for a while (before Hitler got fed up with astrologers).

I know the Nazis were involved with the occult, but to be honest I never took time to study their involvement. I probably should.

Thule. They made their own strange Nordic supremacist version of Theososphy where the Nordics were made of 'ice crystals' and the more ice crystals you had in your constitution the purer you were, which meant that nature's bestowal of ice crystals on your corporate being were less and less kind as your skin darkened.

Yes theosophy was a new age cult founded by a Russian aristocrat named Madame Blavatsky. Her beliefs were from spending time with hindu gurus in southern India. The little brown men from Madras innocently speaking about hinduism would have little idea their words would be distorted to form the basis of a cult that gave rise to Nazism.

Oh I nearly forgot about Astrology. Believe it or not there may be some scientific basis for atrology too

As much as skeptics love to mock astrology, if it werent for astrology we never would have had the basis for astronomy.
All that aside though i often find eerie things about me whenever I look up my natal chart.

In countries such as India, star constellations determine whom you get married to, building a home or starting a new business.
Unbelievably there is scietific evidence that when a particular star is seen on the horizon it also precedes planting of crops

I might have brought this up last time we talked about Blavatsky but Carrol Runyon (the guy from 'The Hermetic Hour') talked a lot about K Paul Johnson's book called 'The Masters Revealed' where it was a couple Kashmiri regional leaders who wanted to play a cultural espionage game with the UK. That perspective makes amount of sense as these guys were well immersed in Hinduism, knew the kind of kitsch that Brits would probably eat up, and so Blatatsky loaded it all on.
