I mostly remember her role as the scientist lady in the John Carpenter remake of Village of the Damned. And she was in a few Lifetime channel movies that I forgot by now.

Apparently she was a scientologist and scientology promises that if you become a high ranking member (pay them $$$$$ and bring more $$$$$$ into the pyramid scheme) that you won't get cancer.

It's almost as if scientology is total BS and there's likely some truth to the rumours that celebrities that endorse it are being blackmailed.. :chin:

Sucks she died, though. 71 is not very old for a woman. :/
