Can't find anyone my age

I am 17 turning 18 next month. I don't have any friends who are my age AND like me. I am just finding out by my therapist that I have features of autism but I know that I have ADHD. She recommended this website and I just can't seem to find anyone. How do I talk to people and actually have them want to talk to me?
