The previous results influence the current ones.
"The luck has to change" is a common bias anyway, leading people to lose their fortunes.
Mozart is good. I like his operas.

Losing one's identity through nature's self-serving trickery with the porpoise purpose of reproduction?

Magz, you are an oxytocin junky.
Admit it.

Quote:
Oxytocin is a peptide hormone and neuropeptide normally produced in the hypothalamus and released by the posterior pituitary. It plays a role in social bonding, reproduction, childbirth, and the period after childbirth. Wikipedia

I admit it. Oxitocin is wow.
Ethanol is, too.
And Chopin was a genius.
Sorry for being boring.

There was a time I mistook a lot of emotions and concepts.

I mistook my pride for loneliness and wanting to fit in. I didn't long for connection or belonging or the sensation that something is missing, only that I wanted to be better than them or anyone.

I mistook platonic love and admiration for crushes and falling in love. I never fell in love (yet) at all, only that admiring someone was a rare feeling to me

I mistook control for suppression. I mistook entitlement for justice. Because I didn't knew any better and it was worse since no one gets it.

I mistook my conscience for mental illness that held me back and brought a lot of guilt and shame. In truth, it was a narrative full of lies and excuses.

I mistook reliability for friendliness. I mistook immaturity for helplessness and vice versa.

And so many more.

I was a spelling bee champion in elementary and middle school. So was my older sister. We competed against each other once, and I got so nervous around her that I misspelled "rhyme". :)

I've had multiple piercings in the span of my adult life.

Navel, septum, both nostrils, "third eye" dermal, and 7 ear piercings (including an industrial). I currently only wear: one nostril piercing and two earrings.

My mom is not an "autism parent" in a traditional sense. Or maybe not at all.

Because I don't want her to be.
I have enough autonomy, knowledge, self determination and reflection to say and do so.

And I'm rather thankful that she accepts this dynamic.
She strongly sides with the idea of self determination and at least understands that it suits me well.

That I'm best left alone and choose how I would develop and accommodate myself, instead of someone else (any well meaning love ones) chasing someone else's (the idea of ideal norm, society) "for me".

That the passive and discreet role she does is the best and the ideal kind of support I could ever asked for.

Had she were the kind who keeps 'intervening' and nagging about autism or even my own development, as much as the dotting mother she is I would've run away after all.

I don't know why exactly, except a remnant of my past I've yet to resolve;

I get triggered by a very specific scenario:

It only happens when my mom talks to me about anything to do with involving technology and/or software, whether it's directly or indirectly related to any else.

This never happens towards everyone else, and this does not happen towards my mom with anything else.

And somewhat it's futile to tell my mom, as I told her about it over and over and over...

It never helps that she really sucks at handling tech and software (to a point of not bothering to read and explore), while being very active at participating online activities, and with no one else around to help her.

I've had multiple prophetic dreams 8O I don't consider myself particularly superstitious or religious, so I really have no explanation for it at this point.
