Does anyone older then 30 still live with their parents?

Does anyone older then 30 still live with their parents and receiver support from them for their condition?

From where I came from, it's the norm.
May or may not have anything to do with any 'condition'.

I'm 40ish and I live with my mother, albeit I'm more her carer now (she's more disabled than I am). I absolutely receive support in the form of a roof over my head. She used to drive me to places when she could drive, which made things a lot easier, but I get by now.

It's more or less the norm in Asia. Usually the child eventually become the parent's carer.

Hm... So yeah... Not in the US.
I kinda wish it's very possible choice to just leave the parents house at 18 or so alone, to own a place and a more independent life by just working at 9-5 jobs...

Probably less disabled than I should be. :lol: I've been on a disability pension since...23 or something, so the government figures I'm not the best when it comes to working and/or studying. I'm not good at socialization either, but that one goes without saying.

As pointed out, living with your parents past age 30----doesn't mean that you are necessarily the "kid." You could be helping out your parents as they get older.

I moved out at 20-----because I couldn't take living with my mother any longer.

My daughter was 30 this year and she still lives with me. She works full time and she could quite easily live unsupported but she just chooses to stay at home. She does have autism as well. I think her diagnosis was high functioning autism.

I'm under 30 and I live on my own, but my dad lived with his parents until he was 30 and he's in no way disabled. So far he's never moved out of his childhood home; it was his parents who moved out closer to their daughter to help her out with the kids and to help my great-grandmother who also lived in the area.

What I'm saying is that sometimes completely healthy people live with their parents for quite a long time, and this was the case even back in the day when housing was far cheaper than it is now, so it's not weird.

I'm 32 and until I make enough money, I will be stuck with my mom and my NT sister.

I was emancipated from both parents at 16 and have been on my own ever since. I have cousins on both sides who are in their 40's now who have never lived away from home. (3 of them. Male and Female. All NT as far as we know)

There parents are still alive even tho they(cousins) are both in their 40s?
