Basically I'm getting annoyed by people. I text someone from college via facebook a question about class and he saw it but never replied, so I sent another, he ignored it again so I put 'rude'. I'm really angry that he ignored me. That's such disrespect. I feel like I must confront him. Also a girl in college always copies my movements and dresses and behaves a bit like me and I don't like it. I'd rather she be in a different class but that's impossible. Please could you tell me how to deal with this. I know they are such small things but I can't stop feeling uncomfortable with these people. They should not be that way but if I fight them I will be in trouble even if I'm correct.... I don't know what would be better.

I've worked hard to get to where I am now and I am starting to be around other people more and talk to them sometimes. I don't really want to harm people.

Are you sure that that girl imitates you on purpose? Maybe she just happens to have similar mannerisms and taste to you.

Are you saying that she does it to mock you? Or is your theory that she does it because she thinks you're cool?

Either way I suspect that you have an exaggerated idea of how important you are to a stranger.

Dude probably didn't reply because he is scared of you. I know I am.

The girl probably admires you, take it as a compliment. She might make a good friend.

Mimicry is a sign of attraction. That, or she has a similar background to you, and consequently has similar mannerisms. I wouldn't confront her about it. If she starts talking to you, then she probably kinda likes you. If she hardly looks at you, then she just has a similar background.

I ignore practically half the messages I get on FB and don't even think about it. So does everyone else. I don't do it to be rude, it's just a habit. We have stuff to do, and we aren't always able to reply to everyone.

So try not to think too hard about what other people are doing towards you, because they're not really thinking about it either. Its weird, I know. I used to do the same thing.

Good luck dude!

It happens to me all the time. I message people, they ignore me.
(Contrariwise, I reply to every message I get, unless it is obvious spam)

I don't think there is a solution to it. Seems to be a behaviour that has emerged in this new age of social media. It is far too easy to ignore people now.

Here's what I do :

Someone at work wore their hair the exact same way as me and this hairdo is not an everyday do - it's something that used to be worn during the Victorian Era so I knew she was copying me. Honestly, I looked the other way and moved on laughing about it later. What was I going to say to her? It would have made me look like an idiot by thinking I should be the only one that should be able to wear my hair like that.

If I send a text to someone and get nothing back, I give it several times and will then cut them off. I'm not going to keep at someone to be my friend if they are not interested. I wouldn't confront them about it because you can't make someone answer you back and it's going to make you look like a crazed maniac. I'd leave it alone after you have given it a couple texts and then move on and never look back.

I don't think she is copying me on purpose, but I still dislike it.
