Autistic Spectrum Condition, Level 1, without cognitive impairment or language delay (or words to that effect.)

Unusually for a Brit diagnosed over three years ago, I was diagnosed by DSM-V criteria, not ICD-10 (aside from the "Disorder" =>"Condition" switcharoo.) A friend referred by the same GP surgery at about the same time as me saw a different psychologist, and was diagnosed with "Asperger's Syndrome" - go figure!

I've been diagnosed with other things like ADHD but they've been dismissed.

I'm officially bonkers.

My only official diagnosis is ADHD.

Back when I was assessed in the 90s they suspected Asperger's but ruled it out because I looked the psychologist in the eye when he spoke to me. I don't know how that was even possible though, since I just cried the whole time.

They put me on a ton of drugs. It caused me kidney problems. It sucked. I'd rather die than go back for another assessment. I can deal with my issues of facial recognition and sensory processing on my own.

When I was a kid my diagnoses were just Dyslexia & ADD. When I was officially tested for Aspergers my diagnoses were Schizoid Personality Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Codependent, learning disability/disorder but didn't say which one, said I fit all the main features of Schizoaffective Personality Disorder but didn't have it, I also had depression, & pedophilia.
I believe my diagnoses are Dyslexia, ADD, Aspergers, OCD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, & minor depression. I believe I was suffering from a psychotic depression at the time I was tested which caused me to get the Schizoaffective & Borderline diagnoses. I had also just screwed up my 1st relationship due to my BAD anxiety & OCD & I'm dependent in general which caused me to get the Codependent diagnoses. I seriously doubt I would get the Schizoaffective, Borderline, & Codependent diagnoses if I were tested nowadays. i also believe I got the pedophilia diagnoses cuz my 1st girlfriend was 15 when I was 20. Us Aspsies mature at a slower rate than our peers & me & her had some odd things in common like dyslexia, She had sever ADHD, & some OCD. I had also got into fake pix of celebs & some of them were underage but most of the underage 1s were within a few years of me & I was not really interested them sexuality. It was my BAD OCD causing me to have problems with hoarding & organizing pix that I never used. I've had OCD problems with other porn things too. I'm really on the asexuality spectrum & don't really desire to actually have sex with anyone outside of a serious romantic realtionship.

I'm actually not completely sure myself. I basically grew up being told I have aspergers or whatever we're supposed to call it now, but I didn't get direct confirmation until I spoke with a psychatrist in my mid-twenties so I could get assisstance. She diagnosed me and the assisstance was approved but I was never told specifically what my diagnosis was. It sucks though, because it's kind of made me doubt sometimes whether or not I am actually on the spectrum or not. But considering how odd I am and how difficult it is to connect with people, I figure it's as good an explanation as any, and I am trying to embrace it best I can.

ASD evaluation next week, diagnosis in 3 weeks. I suspect I'll come back as level 1. My therapist thinks it likely, but wants me to be evaluated by a specialist.

-Autism Spectrum Disorder, Level 1 with OCD traits (my psychologist chose not to give me a separate diagnosis for my -OCD as he believes it's related to my ASD.)
