I used to think that being extroverted was weird for a neurodivergent. Now, I wonder if taking the initiative to meet new people constantly isn't just an advanced form of masking. I know what happens if I don't approach others. I am ostracized. When I act confident and happy in social settings then at least people don't see me as an easy target.
