So frustrating when I get in a timely post only to be knocked back with "you can't post so soon...", click submit again and told "you can't post again so soon." click submit for a third time "someone else has posted do you want to update your post". Update post and Click submit again for the fourth time... "someone has posted yet again". Click for a fifth time and it finally goes, but now the count is kaput. <head explodes leaving bits of brain all over my screen.>

Yeah, those messages keep coming up a lot for me whenever DeepHour isn't around. :lol:

It's frustrating though. In theory, the site can handle a rapid succession of posts from lots of different members, but not the same amount from two members one after the other? Or is it some sort of anti-spambot measure?

I think its an anti spam bot feature but it is very poorly implemented. It really only aught to apply to new members or those with less than X number of previous posts. Blocking established regular members is just crap / lazy programming.
