Maudsley Hospital in London - mental health treatment

Hi all,

I am new to this forum. I didn't realise there was a really big autism forum like this one until a few minutes ago.

Anyway, I come from England, UK. I have a diagnosis of autism and OCD. However, I think I also have depression and GAD and social anxiety as well. Now, I am currently under an NHS mental health team, however, they cannot meet my needs. So, they are referring me to Maudsley Hospital in London for mental health and autism treatment. At Maudsley hospital they have autism specialists who can treat mental illnesses in autistic people (like myself).

Whilst I realise a lot of people on this forum are from all around the world, if there's any from the UK that have been to Maudsley Hospital in London for their autism and mental health. I'd love to hear all of your experiences. The waiting list is 2-years long - so I am in for a long wait.
