This is an all inclusive question.

Do you prefer your partner or potential partner to wear makeup?

I would prefer my potential partner to wear whatever they like. I don’t have a preference.

I tend to barely notice things like that. I would rather not taste makeup if we're both drinking from the same can of soda or something so I would prefer No makeup.

I dislike the taste of it. And no, I don't believe face paint looks good.

It's sort of like facial piercings. Sure, let people do what they want to do, but we'll judge them for it.

Some girls do look pretty good without makeup on, so I'd prefer them than those who wear TOO much makeup.

That's the spirit. I agree.

I actually have a fascination with make up. Not for myself because I don't know how to apply it (other than eyeliner) but I can sit all day long watching people put it on. Especially when they do all that contouring stuff.

I thought in every relationship the woman stopped wearing makeup quite early on ?

So we have no choice.

It’s true that it’s not your choice.

The question was: what do you prefer?

I was married to someone who looked alright without make-up and when she was madeup it didn't look too different. So I would say 'without'. Also because the time and effort would be unmaintainable.

For me, it depends on the person. I had one ex who loved makeup and she'd go all out with it. She knew how to do stage makeup as well as day to day styles. She had a blast putting it on and would go all out with it (it was a form of creative self expression to her) and then she felt like amazing once it was on. For her, I preferred it due to how it made her feel. Another of my ex's hated makeup. She was the queen of waking up in the morning and going out as is. She'd grin at me after maybe running a brush through her hair and say, "Yeah, I wake up looking this good." I would have preferred she not wear any because she felt amazing without it. I don't care one way or another about how the stuff looks on a person, I care about how it makes them feel. If they like it, great. If not, great.

If we have to catch a plane, and somebody just HAS to put on makeup, I might get upset because “putting on makeup” could take a long time.

She needs to wear makeup in order for me to marry her.

I prefer no makeup.
It takes most people at least ten minutes to apply makeup and it feels like wasted time to me.

Why people break up....

and then turn around, and make up?

I just can't see.

But maybe the Rev. Al Greene can shed some light on it.
