As for being curious about your achievements, as I said, I am always curious as to how people measure up to their own standards. So, when someone says things like this, ever-so-confidently (emphasis mine)

It really makes me wonder who they think they are. After all, how else are we to know our respective places if we don't compare our respective lists, such as the ones you provided
in your own example of
your own belief and standard. Since knowing one's place is such an important skill, I thought I'd try to learn it. Or at least, see what the "know your place" fella thinks
their place is, being such an important skill.
