Do women enjoy being patronised/looking like children?

The percentage of males here is maybe 60%.

I swear, the internet and nearly all social media is about 90% adolescent males whose brains are ravaged by hormones, or they're incels, or both. They say the most misogynistic and disgusting things because they don't have to show their real identity. Things like "sigh...unzips" when they see a photo of a girl. Or if a girl has an interest in sports, they'll demand they name all the players in a team in order to prove they're into sports, which is something they wouldn't ask a male. They'll say women need to stay in the kitchen, but only if it's a household kitchen. If it's a five-star restaurant kitchen, forget it!

And now, because most people on WP are male, you're going to deny, protest, and tell me why I'm wrong, or even call me a feminazi. But if women didn't fight so hard for their rights throughout history, we probably wouldn't even be allowed to vote or the the house without a man today. At least in most western countries.

You should hear the talks among men when women aren't around! Let me tell you, it's not just Trump, let's put it that way.
It's disgusting.

I get the impression that women put up with being patronized, to gain things in society, but dont really like it. Like play dumb even in this day and age.

But I am also reminded of what the great French cabaret singer Edith Piaf (also famous for being a kind of a female casanova who had a series if scandalous affairs with famous men- ranging from politicians to prize fighters) once said:

"I like men to be men. Strong. And childish."

I can do "childish"! :D

But the point is not only do individuals differ within each gender, but each individual may have complex and contradictory attitudes about both what turns them on in the opposite sex, and in how they themselves want to be perceived (in general, or by the opposite sex).

I think it's like cats. (For all genders I'm not just comparing women to animals).

Cats hate having their bellies rubbed.

My own cat who loves me a lot will let me see her belly.

A regular cat out on the street won't let a human see their belly. It's for when they're alone or with someone they trust.

Being treated as childish in play with your lover is different to being treated as a child by random people on the street. And if those people on the street fancy you? It gets creepy.

Most of the time it's just patronising though imo.

I had a lady cat once who would present her belly to be rubbed ❤️

I get the fertility thing but surely a 21 yo is equally fertile to a 14 yo and also: 1 sexually available legally and 2 more sexually desirable to most guys (lesbians, whatever)? She has perky boobs but they're full sized. She has shaved down below* (when it comes to that) but it's shaved and an active choice rather than no growth. She lacks wrinkles but also lacks acne. If she's cis and you're a cis guy and you get together, she can both have your baby and raise it well.

I see the early 20s as the desirable age. And a compliment to women if you say 'you look 10 years younger'. But saying 'you look like a school kid' isn't.

* I'm trying to keep this in the social skills section rather than the adult section

I absolutely try to keep this in the skills section too, but its so hard trying to explain my thinking and what i see bc biology has so much say in how we humans behave and signal and appear.

Lets take what I would call the 'Haley Quinn syndrom'. Google for pictures by 'Harley Quinn' for reference.
Then picture a 50 years old apparently female, a 30 years old apparently female, 19 years old apparently female, and finally a 14 years old apparently female. All wearing the same style of clothing/makeup.

How do you feel and react as male? For me it would be (50)Cool I like her a lot, (30)Cool I like her possibly too much, (19)look away too alluring, (14)look away too alluring feeling sick. Its uncanny wally. And you (I do) would struggle to put correct age on alle except maybe the 19 ears old.
This fact gets used by a lot of apparently female and one of the reason being: they compete between themselves.
I think. It's so difficult navigating this jungle with my sosial skills, I can tell you that.
How this work for trans people I do not know but 'oh my' I do want to talk/listen about this with trans persons.
I do know of a study about this that make me advice, as a definite social skill advice to bio-females: dont go shopping for party clothes with a good friend/friends if both are in the fertile period of your cycle, both will buy clothes that are signalling fertility more strongly than elsewhere in the period, partly bc they look at each other comparing.
There you go, bl*** nature/biology again.

Edit: aww darn to heck I did forget to start this one also with 'This is why I struggle to read most social clues as age, interests, am I of possible interest to this person. eksetera. Sorry

True. hmmm I guess I should switch name to 'that's bl*** biology for you'. But a 5000 years old society is as much to blame, and habits, and 'cant be less bold that others' (ops there goes biology again)
I had to train my mind to not separate between male/female, black/white in argumentation etc. It helps to consider humans as people.
Biology on the other hand doesn't care what you think of feel. Your biology just is. This causes lots of pain and frustration, with some happiness and pleasure here and there

PS! Just to be clear, on the safe side so to speek, ppl colour range from pale pink to deep brown in my book so dont creatively missunderstand.

I’ve been turned on by adult women of all ages.

I might be as smitten with the 50-year-old as smitten with the 19-year-old.

(50) either sexy milf or too old (30) sexy lady my age (19) that's hot (14) f**k I'm on a watch list.

I'm bi and apparently male sexy guy would be:
(50) that looks like my dad (30) still not into him but cool bro (19) that's hot (14) f**k I'm on a watch list

Cos cis males become more masculine in their mid-20s and I'm not super bi, I can just tell when a boy's (legal age young man) pretty.

For some reason I'm picturing naked because with any kind of clothes on, clothes take away the biology thing.

I was unfortunately on a site where some nonce decided to share a picture of a 15 yo girl. Maybe cos I'm trans so I remember looking like that but it didn't turn me on - it turned my stomach. Some of the cis guys on the site were saying 'that's hot'. It's the fact her tits point upwards. Tits are meant to point outwards and be big. Esp in porn (some ladies my age are flat chested ish, A cup and B cup but... they don't do porn).

When I was 12-16 or so, I would see it as:
(50) old lady (30) milf or old lady (19) hot (14) hot
16-30 would be:
(50) old lady (30) milf (19) hot (14) f**k I'm on a watchlist.
I imagine now I'm in my 30s it will stay the same except 'milf' will become 'hot woman my age'. I can't imagine being 70 cos being 70 I would find 70 you women hot and right now they're as off limits sexually to me as 10 yos.

Society influences how you see these things to a large extent. Yes, 14 yo girls can give babies. But the risk of being put onto a watch list or called a nonce and beaten up in jail makes it a case of self preservation. Plus: I just don't find kids sexy. I would find 19 sexiest out of all of those, technically a teenager and at her most fertile but low risk in terms of arrest/guilt.

Biology makes us want to procreate (assuming not trans cos there's no way I'm being the one to get pregnant...) but it also makes us want to self-preserve as much as possible. f*****g girls under 16 is a suicide mission.

Plus I actually pretty much hate 14-15 yo girls cos I got bullied in school by female chavs & most of them look chav if they're trying to look sexy. I don't find chav sexy. If I was cis, I would want my kids to have a classy lady for their mother, as it is I want to f**k a classy lady who doesn't smell of fag ash and beer. 14 yo girls who aren't trying to look sexy look like the kids they are. Picture: 14 yo in petticoat with hair in a bun. 20 yo in petticoat with hair in a bun. One is sexy and also a lady to take home to mum and dad/potential mother for your kids. One looks like a kid. 14 yo in crop top and mini shorts smoking a fag. 20 yo in crop top and mini shorts smoking a fag. Both look like chavs, 20 yo looks like someone you might hook up with for the night and not brag about cos she actually stinks but hey in cis guy language 'any hole's a goal', 14 yo looks like her pregnant underage little sister.

Thanks :D

Now my head hurts, it appears that I'm semi able to write some lines with content hanging together broadly.
I really struggle with receiving longer texts. Atm my eyes hop around the page and my short term memory is making 'beepbeep' noises .... I even think there are a red light flashing.
Before I even talk to someone about this I need to learn some new words, then start again. I think I broadly have an idea of what you say by context, but I dont have the skills to fully understand. Sorry. Will return later

The sexual ideal, force fed via mags and ads (and porn), is a teen girl with firm breasts, long legs etc.
We call "our" women baby. (Well not in my country, but still)
The norm (for some reason) is that the man should be taller and older than the woman.
Traditionally men worked and provided, while the women took care of the home. I'm not saying it's less worth cooking and cleaning nb, but if the man earns all the money it's kind of an allowance for the woman.
And there's fertility. And I think this is a reason for some of the things above, men are wired to look for women who can "give them" children.

I've noticed this as well. As a tall woman, I've had people tell me not to wear heels or wedged shoes because it could make men around me feel insecure. Which seems baffling to me. I have a male friend who is 5'10 and I am 5'8, he has made remarks about not wearing heels around him because he doesn't want to bring attention to his height. Apparently in the UK, the average male height is 5'9. I know there is pressure on men to be over 6ft. Another friend joined our group, she is 5'9 and he was not happy about that.

There are certain female celebrities - which I'm not sure whether I'm allowed to mention here - that pitch up their voice and act in an infantile manner in an attempt to be attractive to their audience. It's nothing new - Britney Spears was doing this when she dressed up as a school girl and sang hit me baby one more time. Personally this actually makes me less attracted to a woman. I remember reading a study where they found that men actually prefer more mature female voices - such as Jessica Rabbit.

I don't like to be patronised, but I may put up with it if necessary. However, I have noticed that as my hair colour has changed, so have attitudes. I've faded into a dark strawberry blonde which means I get ginger and blonde jokes directed at me. When I was a brighter blonde, my intelligence was brought into question more and my achievements were down played. Interestingly, ginger women and teenagers in media are often stereotyped as outcast geniuses with anger issues. Compare that to the stereotype of blonde women being stupid or evil. I actually prefer the ginger jokes over the blonde ones. Sure, I could dye my hair, but I actually like being strawberry blonde - it's fun to watch people argue over whether I'm a blonde or a ginger.

Traits such as bright blue eyes and bright blonde hair are associated with youth, since blue often fades to grey and blonde goes darker. Blue eyes are often favoured in Eurocentric beauty standards. Personally I find dark brown eyes and green eyes to be the two most attractive colours. I have light brown eyes.

Me too.

I react to some of these women the way some guys (I was gonna say transphobic but I don't think it's that: I think it's just that some ppl are attracted more by physical features than I am) might to a trans woman.

I mean sure, they're women and I respect that. You deserve to be treated as what you say you are. But they've got a fag in their hands, a pint on their lips, a beer belly, tattoos, voice deeper than my dad's etc... I don't dig that cos I don't dig masculinity... even in women. I've seen plenty cis women like that and they do next to nothing for me.

I'm into feminine cis women, feminine trans women who pass, effeminate trans men who don't and effeminate cis
(/passing trans) men who possess a feminine allure about them.

Exception is a lady with a cigarette holder and gloves on. But that's not been the trend for the last 100 years.
*
As for underage ppl. I was held back a year in school. The last time I fancied a 15 yo was when I was 18. A lad. He was in my group of mates. We dated but I never did anything physical with him beyond kissing - I never broke the law.

My peer group isn't children/teenagers. Some of my friends have nieces and nephews who are 14-16 kind of age, I do too, but those aren't in the role of 'potential love/sex interest'. They're in the role of 'kid'.

And I've never fancied anyone under 11. The 11 yos was when I was 11 too. Before I was 11, friends were just friends and girls were icky (little kids are allowed to be sexist lol).

i think it relates to posturing . im not a misogyneous but . sometimes a woman wants to feel dominance from a man . which allows them to play the subserveant delicate role .

yes Porn has perverted many concepts .. but i think its more physcology of male female role perception.

i worked with a girl who could be moody . i switched up one time and she was brought into frame . her perceived attitude fixed up , and she said sorry on the spot . i could feel what happened . i wasnt aggressive or being a dick .. but she felt put in place in that moment . like i wasnt putting up with her attitude anymore and she knew it.

some people act up to be brought down a peg on purpose , like an attention seeking child who wants the wrath of a parent figure . people are the same .. let it ride , they will carry on until you adjust the dynamic .

i see it all the time .. women who have no respect for their partner , he either folds or lays the mack down and commands the respect . its what she wanted essentially 8)
