What kinds of movies do you like?

2022 films my bride and I have viewed which merit a recommendation:
<=>- The Batman (Action; Crime; Drama; Mystery)
<=>- Moonfall (Action; Adventure; Science Fiction)

If you consider 2021 to also be "new or fairly recent" then:
<=>- Encanto (Comedy; Family; Fantasy; Musical)
<=>- Free Guy (Action; Adventure; Comedy; Fantasy; Science Fiction)
<=>- Ghostbusters: Afterlife (Adventure; Comedy; Fantasy; Science Fiction)
<=>- Infinite (Action; Science Fiction; Thriller)
<=>- The Mitchells vs the Machines (Adventure; Comedy; Family; Science Fiction)
<=>- Sing 2 (Adventure; Comedy; Family; Musical)

The Suicide Squad (2021 DC film written & directed by James Gunn)

Yes, plenty of gore in this film, but plenty of humor that could keep you seated easily.

Still unclear what kind of movies you favor and how recent you want the them to be so going a little further afield than my last batch...

from 2021...
<=>- Happily (Comedy; Crime; Romance; Science Fiction; Thriller)

from 2020...
<=>- Soul (Adventure; Comedy; Family; Fantasy; Music)
<=>- Superintelligence (Comedy; Romance; Science Fiction)

and 2019...
<=>- Jexi (Comedy)

And about "horror"...what if it is "horror" and "comedy"?

Comedy, romance, adventure, drama science fiction, fantasy

And sub genres of the above genres I've listed. You know. Things like that.

Ghost in the shell was a good movie.

With respect to my three earlier posts to this thread, to anyone who is interested in any of the movies I mentioned, some of those movies are in franchises. In each of those cases I like the entire franchise and think it is best to watch all of the related movies in the correct order.

<-> Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure [1989]
<-> Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey [1991]
<-> Bill & Ted Face the Music [2020]

<-> Ghostbusters [1984]
<-> Ghostbusters II [1989]
<-> Ghostbusters: Afterlife [2021]
<->=<-> We also enjoyed the standalone, one-shot, reboot attempt: Ghostbusters [2016]

<-> Sing [2016]
<-> Sing 2 [2021]
