Am I being unreasonable to want a girlfriend who wants pre-plan strategies to prepare for change or events?

Any conditions placed on a relationship may be unreasonable.

What would those pre-plan strategies involve exactly? Can you give some examples?

@Twilightprincess

One strategy would be telling me about changes in the schedule ahead of time, and/or a visual schedule.

Good luck with that.  I have simply gotten used to the idea that plans will change, even while the plan is being executed.  I do not like it, but there is nothing I can do about it.

You could ask a significant other to help you with this, but there’s no guarantee that she would always remember or do so.

Sometimes it’s hard to predict what will happen in advance. Maybe you should try to create your own visual schedule that allows for flexibility when needed.

@Twilightprincess

Pick somebody who is naturally that way inclined?

Not really.

Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. If I was dating, I wouldn’t base my choice of dating partner off of whether or not that person was organized or not.

My criteria wouldn’t be that needlessly strict. A person could miss out on someone really great if they were being that picky.
