8) Falling gas/oil demand.
7) Private Sector Providing Military Spares.
6) Faulty Tech Imports (from China).

Putin is confident that he will win the waiting game because...winter is coming. Ergo the US's west european allies will all start freezing because of the lack of Russian oil and natural gas, and will then break ranks with US support of Ukraine.

But SHOULD he be so confident?

I blame that their capitalism went full Oligarchy. You NEVER go full Oligarchy. In fact, NEVER go Oligarchy PERIOD. And several Russian Oligarchs died of "accidental suicides".

She is responsible for the greater resurgence of the extreme right, btw.

It seems Germany has overcome its natural gas needs now.

Contrary to popular opinion, Russia has quite a poor war record, stretching back to the Tsarist days.

They criticize them in the world cup, yet they sign oil deals with them. :mrgreen:
